show reverse itinerary
Day 1 | Friday DUBROVNIK, CROATIA

Your Adriatic journey begins in Dubrovnik, the legendary Pearl of the Adriatic and one of Europe's most magnificent UNESCO World Heritage cities.
Embark M/Y Callisto at Gruž Port at 2pm, where you'll be warmly welcomed by our Captain and crew. Settle into your comfortable cabin and begin discovering the relaxed rhythm of life aboard your boutique yacht—your home at sea for the week ahead. In the afternoon, join our included guided walking tour through Dubrovnik's Old Town. Wander along the famous Stradun, admire centuries-old palaces, churches and fountains, and discover the remarkable story of the former Republic of Ragusa, one of the Mediterranean's great maritime powers. Back onboard, meet your fellow travelers during a Welcome Cocktail Reception before enjoying your first dinner featuring fresh Mediterranean cuisine and regional wines. As the lights begin to illuminate Dubrovnik's ancient walls, your unforgettable island-hopping adventure officially begins.

Day 2 | Saturday ELAPHITI ISLANDS & MLJET

This morning Callisto sails northwest from Dubrovnik toward the Elaphiti Islands, a peaceful archipelago of pine-covered islands, stone villages, sheltered bays and clear Adriatic waters. Here, away from the larger cruise routes, you'll experience the slower rhythm that defines boutique yachting. Your Captain drops anchor in the sheltered waters off Šipanska Luka for your first Variety Swim Experience. Dive directly from the yacht into crystal-clear turquoise waters, enjoy a leisurely swim or simply relax on deck as Callisto drifts gently in one of the Adriatic's most beautiful natural anchorages. Later, the cruise continues to Mljet, one of Croatia’s greenest islands and home to the famous Mljet National Park (entrance fees included). Upon arrival, our Chief Experience Officer will guide an included walking tour of the national park, exploring its famous saltwater lakes. This evening, enjoy dinner at leisure in Pomena village on Mljet Island. Choose from traditional, family-run tavernas and discover authentic Dalmatian cuisine, including freshly caught Adriatic seafood, local olive oil, and regional specialties. Watch the sunset over the quiet harbour before returning to your yacht for an overnight stay in Mljet (Pomena Port).

Day 3 | Sunday KORČULA

Often called “Little Dubrovnik,” Korčula Island is a highlight of any Adriatic cruise from Dubrovnik, known for its medieval walls, limestone streets, and Venetian architecture. Believed to be the birthplace of Marco Polo, the island reflects centuries of rich maritime history. Before arrival, enjoy a Variety Swim Experience in the Adriatic Sea as your Captain anchors in crystal-clear waters, with time to swim directly from the yacht or relax on deck along Korčula’s scenic coastline. Explore Korčula Old Town at your own pace, or join an optional Korčula wine tour in Lumbarda, home to indigenous varieties such as Grk and Pošip, two of Croatia’s most celebrated wines. In Lumbarda, visit family-run wineries, meet local producers, and enjoy a tasting of four wines paired with Dalmatian specialties including prosciutto, sheep’s cheese, and fresh bread.

Day 4 | Monday LASTOVO

Remote, quiet and beautifully preserved, Lastovo is one of the Adriatic’s best kept secrets and offers a very different feeling from Croatia’s better-known islands. Protected as a nature park, over 70% of the island is covered in dense Mediterranean forest, creating a peaceful landscape of pine-covered hills, secluded coves, and crystal-clear waters. After a morning swim stop from your yacht in the Adriatic Sea and lunch onboard, enjoy free time or join optional experiences on shore. Explore the hilltop village of Lastovo with its traditional stone architecture, historic churches, and Venetian heritage, or simply relax and enjoy the island’s quiet atmosphere. This evening, dine at leisure in Lastovo village konobas, where family-run taverns serve fresh Adriatic seafood, local wines, and authentic Dalmatian cuisine. Your Chief Experience Officer will be happy to recommend the best local restaurants.

Day 5 | Tuesday VIS

Wake to another scenic morning on your Adriatic cruise from Dubrovnik as M/Y Callisto sails toward Vis Island, one of Croatia’s most authentic and unspoiled destinations. Before arrival, enjoy a Variety Swim Experience in the Adriatic Sea, with the chance to swim directly from the yacht in crystal-clear waters. Join our optional excursion in Komiža, a charming fishing village and gateway to Vis Island. Long restricted as a military zone during the Yugoslav era, Vis has preserved its authenticity, making it one of the most unique stops. Spend the afternoon exploring at your own pace or join optional guided experiences focused on Vis’ military history, panoramic viewpoints, or local wine culture. Return to the yacht in the evening for dinner onboard as Callisto remains overnight in the harbour of Komiža, Vis Island.

Day 6 | Wednesday PAKLENI ISLANDS & HVAR

Sail towards Hvar Island, passing the stunning Pakleni Islands archipelago, known for pine-covered islets, secluded bays, and crystal-clear Adriatic waters. Enjoy another Variety Swim Experience, followed by lunch onboard as you cruise through one of Croatia’s most scenic island routes. Arrive in Hvar Town, the most glamorous stop on your Adriatic cruise from Dubrovnik, famous for its Venetian architecture, lively waterfront promenade, and hilltop fortress overlooking one of the Adriatic’s most beautiful harbours. Join an included guided walking tour with a local expert to discover the town's rich history, architectural treasures, and vibrant culture before enjoying time at your leisure. Often called Croatia’s sunniest island, Hvar is known for its lavender fields, maritime heritage, fine wines, and elegant Mediterranean lifestyle. Explore at your own pace or join our optional excursion before returning to the yacht for an overnight cruise towards Montenegro.

Day 7 | Thursday KOTOR, MONTENEGRO

Today marks the signature highlight of your Adriatic voyage as M/Y Callisto sails into the breathtaking Bay of Kotor, one of Europe's most spectacular natural harbours. Surrounded by towering mountains, picturesque waterfront villages and calm blue waters, Montenegro introduces a completely new culture, landscape and atmosphere, making this a truly unique two-country Adriatic experience. Enjoy a full day in Montenegro - join our morning included guided walking tour to explore the UNESCO World Heritage town of Kotor, with time to wander its enchanting maze of medieval streets, elegant squares, Venetian palaces and charming cafés. Later in the afternoon, you may join our optional excursion into the mountains for unforgettable panoramic views and authentic Montenegrin flavours. After dinner onboard, bid farewell to Montenegro as Callisto begins her overnight voyage back to Dubrovnik.

Day 8 | Friday DUBROVNIK, CROATIA

As M/Y Callisto returns to Dubrovnik this morning, enjoy one final breakfast onboard while reflecting on a remarkable journey through Croatia's most captivating islands and the spectacular Bay of Kotor in Montenegro. Over the past week, you've discovered medieval towns, authentic island communities, crystal-clear Adriatic waters, local wines, fresh Adriatic seafood, oysters, unforgettable flavours and the relaxed rhythm of boutique yachting that defines the Variety Cruises experience. Following breakfast, disembark at 9am at Gruž Port, taking home memories of island-hopping at its finest—and, we know, the inspiration to discover another corner of the world with Variety Cruises’ small ships.

Map for Croatia Island Hopping & Montenegro Small Ship Cruise
Callisto, the ship servicing Croatia Island Hopping & Montenegro Small Ship Cruise

Callisto

Vessel Type: Motor Yacht

Length: 50 metres

Passenger Capacity: 34

Built/Refurbished: 2000 / 2015-16

Callisto is framed as a slow-paced classic yacht experience built around calm movement, sea views and familiar comfort. The vessel carries 34 guests in a traditional 50-metre profile, shaped by wide teak decks, warm interiors and a hospitality style that emphasises familiarity rather than formality. Public areas dominate the upper levels: an indoor lounge and dining room linked by an art-lined gallery, a weather-dependent outdoor dining space, and a sun deck with loungers and an elevated library wrapped in glass. The ship moves at ten knots, reinforcing the unhurried rhythm the brand positions as its core identity.

Seventeen ocean-view cabins sit across the lower and main decks. All categories share marble-appointed en-suite bathrooms and expected hotel-standard amenities—individual A/C, TV, mini-fridge, safe and internal-use telephone. Lower-deck C and B cabins have portholes and twin beds. Main-deck A and P cabins offer full windows, with bow cabins fitted with double beds and the rest in twin configuration. A sixteen-person crew delivers the service layer, structuring the experience as a “home at sea” rather than luxury theatre.
